Sra Gail is a Minnesota native who grew up in a very small
town up on the Iron Range. She went to college in Eau Claire,
Wisconsin, where she received my degree in Elementary and Middle School
Education and a Spanish Education minor. After graduating from Eau
Claire she moved to Quito, Ecuador and lived there for six memorable
years! While living in Quito she received her Masters in Education and
worked in a fabulous American (English immersion) school for 5
years--Colegio Americano de Quito.
With her husband, Patricio, she moved back to the states six years ago.
Most summers they retreat to Ecuador to visit family and friends and
relax at the family’s resort in the rain forest. However, this
summer is the first in 14 years that she hasn’t done any international
traveling. Instead, she spent many summer days having fun with
family and friends right here in Minnesota and Wisconsin. A
highlight was exploring “The Lost Forty” up in the Chippewa National
Forest!
This school year will be her sixth one at LILA
